Meet the Team
In 2022, Owston Hall Hotel was given a new lease of life when local Doncaster family, the Martins, purchased the 32-bedroom hotel and estate. Along with reinstating the golf course to championship level, the family plans to restore the hall to its former glory and create a leading, multi-outlet resort destination in South Yorkshire.
Lady Margot
As the beloved mascot of Owston Hall Hotel, basset hound Margot brings joy and a sense of warmth to the entire team. With her droopy ears, soulful eyes and wagging tail, Margot is the perfect embodiment of charm and friendliness. Whether she’s greeting guests at the entrance or playfully chasing her favourite ball in the beautiful grounds, her presence is always a delightful sight.
Margot is not just a pretty face. She is incredibly intelligent and has a knack for putting a smile on everyone’s face. Her playful and gentle demeanour makes her a favourite among both staff and guests. So, the next time you visit Owston Hall Hotel, keep an eye out for Lady Margot. She’ll be the one wagging her tail and spreading happiness wherever she goes!
