What do you usually do in the days between Christmas and New Year? In 2027, you could say “I do” in our country house wedding venue near Doncaster, with a wedding package that means you needn’t lift a finger (except the one you’re putting a ring on).
At Christmas and New Year, Owston Hall is beautifully decorated with trees, garlands, baubles and lights. Expect frost on the ground and candlelight shimmering at the Georgian windows. Most of your friends and family are probably already off work and ready to celebrate with you.
Our Fairytale Christmas Wedding 2027 includes everything you need for a wonderful celebration from morning to night. There’s a drinks reception, a three-course wedding breakfast, and extra evening guests can join you for the party and evening food. When the night winds down, you’ll head up to your honeymoon suite, where a rose petal turndown and a bottle of Champagne will be waiting.

- From £4,500 for 40 daytime and 70 evening guests.
- Add exclusive use for just £3,500 to include all 32 bedrooms overnight with breakfast.
- Additional daytime guests: adults £125, children £25. Owston Hall weddings can accomodate up to 120 guests.

Christmas Wedding FAQs
Can we have our wedding ceremony at Owston Hall?
Yes. Owston Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, so you can marry and celebrate here from morning to night.
What does exclusive use mean for a Christmas wedding?
With this special exclusive-use price, you'll have the whole hall to yourselves, including all bedrooms, lounges, restaurant and public spaces, with no other hotel guests allowed on site.
Can our guests stay overnight?
Yes. All 32 guest rooms are included if you take exclusive use for £3500. If you don't take exclusive use, double rooms are from £130 each – so you can see that exclusive use offers incredible value!
What if it's cold or wet on the day?
Your drinks reception and photographs can take place in our halls if the weather is wet. Winter light is especially good for indoor photos, and the elegant staircase makes the perfect backdrop for family photos.
Are the Christmas decorations included, or can we add our own?
Owston Hall's festive decorations will be in place. You're welcome to add your own styling, and our wedding coordinator can recommend local suppliers.
Can we see Owston Hall dressed for Christmas before we book?
Yes. Book a wedding show round this December to see how the Hall will look on your day. You can secure one of the 2027 dates before then by paying a non-refundable deposit.
